Healthy snacks can also be store bought snacks. Some detective work on the ingredient list and nutrition info led me to this tasty snack. Measure your snacks out ahead of time to get the correct amount of calories and carbs.

 

HEALING BENEFITS

Seaweed is the vegetable of the sea. It is high in omega-3 fatty acids and can promote good skin health. Seaweed has been shown to reduce bloating and provide a great source of iodine. Naturally, our bodies do not create iodine, so it must be consumed through our foods. Iodine is needed to produce hormones in the thyroid gland to control our body’s metabolism.
